Save Our Space - Meetings


Friday 12th March 2004 at Totnes Civic Hall, starting at 7.30pm

This meeting will be your opportunity to find out how you can help produce a new plan for the Southern Area.

Sunday 21st December, starting at 4.30pm

SOS organised a Lantern Walk along the footpath to the Leech Wells on the longest night of the year. Despite the wet weather the 30 or so people who took part enjoyed carols, hot punch and mince pies at the well.

Wednesday 3rd December 2.30pm-7.30pm

The SHDC Planning Department hosted a surgery at the Guild Hall in Totnes at which plans and staff were available. We were disappointed that so was little information was provided that was not already available on this website. Most of our questions remain unanswered.

Totnes Town Council considered the SHDC planning application at the full meeting of the Council at the Guild Hall in Totnes and overwhelmingly voted to urge SHDC to reject the plan. You can read a report of this meeting here.

The regular SOS Group Wednesday Evening meetings have resumed. They are normally held at Paul Wesley's (above Harlequin Books in the High Street) and start at 7.30pm. If for any reason a different location is to be used, a notice will be posted in the window of Harlequin Books.
